Job Summary

Lead the design and delivery of landscape schemes across public realm, active travel, resorts, and new neighbourhoods. Manage projects with financial and programme responsibilities while presenting concepts to clients and stakeholders. Mentor junior staff as a professional mentor and line manager, contribute to multidisciplinary collaboration, and oversee design development from feasibility through construction information. Ensure strong contract administration and produce high-quality reports, drawings, and technical documentation using appropriate tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee the design and delivery of landscape schemes, including project management with financial and programme responsibilities.
•Represent AECOM with client-facing design presentations and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and collaborators.
•Mentor and develop junior staff, including acting as a professional mentor and line manager.
•Develop designs through all stages from initial feasibility to production of construction information and ensure appropriate contract administration (e.g., JCLI).
•Produce and/or oversee reports, drawings, and other technical documentation with the necessary level of detail for each stage.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) with at least three years post-qualification experience.
•Proven track record designing public realm schemes and managing complex multi-disciplinary projects.
•Thorough knowledge of the UK planning system relevant to landscape architecture.
•Experience managing projects including financial control, reporting, and programme management.
•Demonstrated ability to oversee design and delivery of landscape schemes.
