  • •Act as the technical contact for assigned machining, forging, and contract manufacturing suppliers, driving accountability for performance improvements.
  • •Assess supplier machining and forging processes and sheet-metal manufacturing processes to ensure supplier readiness and technical compliance.
  • •Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives and performance plans to improve quality, delivery, capacity, and operational excellence.
  • •Lead supplier problem-solving using structured methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, and RCCA; conduct assessments, technical audits, and manufacturing process evaluations.
  • •Support new product introductions and lead cross-functional projects with engineering, global supply chain, procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, materials science, quality engineering, or a related technical field.
  • •7+ years of experience in supplier engineering, supplier quality, manufacturing engineering, operations, or a related discipline.
  • •Demonstrated experience supporting machining, forging, fabrication, precision manufacturing, or contract manufacturing suppliers.
  • •Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including CNC machining, forging, assemblies, welding, fabrication, heat treatment, and precision component manufacturing.
  • •Experience reviewing engineering drawings/specifications including GD&T requirements and manufacturing process documentation.
