  • •Oversee/supervise all facets of the equipment division in your respective area by coordinating equipment needs with operational managers.
  • •Maintain cost control for rolling stock by authorizing purchases and managing outside repairs with accurate work and billing.
  • •Ensure equipment repairs and preventive maintenance are completed effectively, efficiently, and on time; maximize equipment and mechanic utilization.
  • •Monitor equipment utilization and unbilled equipment hours; be visible in the field to inspect equipment and schedule repairs prior to failure.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate's degree or equivalent, or 2–4 years of related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination).
  • •Previous supervisory experience and a proven track record managing jobs and teams end-to-end.
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, contracts, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; strong written and verbal communication.
  • •Computer skills, including use of Outlook, MS Office programs, and construction software/web-based programs.
  • •Working knowledge to complete mathematical calculations and solve practical problems with limited standardization.
