Lead the Data Connections team that powers how customer data moves in and out of the platform—importing from warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) and object storage (S3, Azure Blob Storage) and exporting enriched event data to downstream destinations. You’ll set the roadmap, grow ~10 engineers, and own reliability (SLOs) and cost efficiency for high-scale batch and streaming pipelines. Tech stack includes Java, Temporal, Kafka, Kubernetes, Terraform, and DynamoDB on AWS/GCP.

•Lead, coach, and grow a team of around 10 engineers, including hiring, career development, feedback, and performance.
•Partner with tech leads on architecture across ingestion, transformation, and delivery without becoming a bottleneck.
•Own reliability, SLOs, and cost efficiency for pipelines customers depend on daily.
•Expand supported destinations and sources, work cross-functionally to ship end-to-end, and join significant customer onboardings and escalations.
