Key Responsibilities

  • •Read civil and architectural plans and analyze bid documents, plans, blueprints, and specs to understand the project.
  • •Process submittals and shop drawings, and prepare and submit monthly billings and invoicing.
  • •Perform job costing and analysis with short- and long-term forecasting, and monitor/analyze costs versus bid during construction.
  • •Prepare construction time schedules (prefer experience in Microsoft Project).
  • •Process change orders and manage subcontractor billing and change orders, including soliciting/managing subcontractor and vendor quotes and ordering/tracking material shipments.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years’ experience in Heavy Civil Construction project management including sitework, grading, sewer, storm water, and water main projects.
  • •Associates degree preferred in Civil, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • •Experience in estimator bidding on D.O.T. projects (preferred).
  • •Experience in project management required, with estimating experience as a plus.
  • •Knowledge of Take-Off software preferred (Agtek Software Plus experience a plus).
