Job Summary

Lead commercial activities for client engagements, positioning the organization’s commercial capabilities and optimizing solutions for profitability and innovation. Prepare and review pricing and costing for sales proposals, build pricing models, and present key pricing assumptions and risks for sign-off. Manage deal profitability over time using financial and foreign-currency analysis, assess taxation and cost impacts, and mitigate contract and commercial risks in collaboration with legal.

Key Responsibilities

•Take the commercial lead for client engagements and ensure solutions are commercially optimized, innovative, and profitable.
•Review and prepare commercial parts of sales proposals, including pricing and costing recommendations, pricing models, and pricing profiles.
•Present key pricing assumptions and risks for sign-off in line with the authority matrix.
•Collaborate with vendors/subcontractors and the legal team to support conception, construction, and review of client proposals, escalating queries as needed.
•Analyze and manage deal profitability over time, including long-term profit, foreign currency, taxation, inflation/cost-of-living impacts, and contract/financial budgeting and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or Finance or a related field.
•Advanced experience in a Commercial or similar field, preferably within a global IT services organization.
•Advanced experience developing pricing assumptions and pricing models.
•Advanced demonstrated experience in deal structuring, pricing review, and negotiation.
•Advanced experience in an accounting type role.
