Key Responsibilities

  • •Review production orders and oversee start-up, run, and shutdown of equipment on assigned lines.
  • •Own process, equipment, and packer performance on the assigned lines to meet production, quality, and quantity standards, including proper set-ups and quality checks.
  • •Organize work for smooth operations; train packers and machine operators on quality checks, production steps, and equipment adjustments/settings.
  • •Operate and/or manage key line activities (e.g., process control blending, recalibration/control panel, printing press, bag separator) and take a line down properly.
  • •Troubleshoot the majority of problems on extrusion, bag machines, and winders; maintain scrap-minimizing production and communicate order/material changes.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/equivalent or two years of previous blown film manufacturing experience.
  • •Demonstrated mechanical background to support production-line operations and troubleshooting.

  • •Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • •Ability to perform functional math and use measuring devices (e.g., handheld calculator, percentage formulas, density/blend calculations).
