Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, grow, and support a distributed squad of platform engineers (Berlin and Poland), owning hiring, development, and performance.
  • •Build and maintain a 1–2 quarter engineering roadmap with explicit trade-offs between features, timelines, and quality.
  • •Drive core platform commitments: highly available multi-cluster failover, broader container platform adoption, multi-region deployments, and infrastructure cost optimization.
  • •Own squad operational metrics and ensure reliability through accountable operational follow-through and incident learning.
  • •Facilitate postmortems and action items, manage infrastructure vendor relationships, and partner with Observability, Release Engineering, and Security.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience managing a team of engineers, including hiring, performance management, and career development.
