Job Summary

A principal-level Civil Engineer specialising in wastewater hydraulics, leading delivery on urban drainage projects, developing modelling capabilities (InfoWorks ICM), mentoring junior staff, and supporting business development across UK offices. Key Responsibilities

•Support the team leads in managing project delivery, including supervision of tasks and review of deliverables
•Develop the urban drainage modelling capability within the team and provide training to junior members
•Support the team lead in managing the local technical delivery team
•Provide technical input on urban drainage projects and support wastewater team in delivering current and future projects
•Develop and maintain excellent client relationships, coordinating project meetings internally and with clients

Key Requirements

•A relevant degree and chartered, or significantly progressed toward chartership with ICE, IEI, IoW or CIWEM
•Clear and demonstrated experience of wastewater hydraulic modelling (InfoWorks ICM) and ability to check the outputs of others
•Good working knowledge of Water Industry Specifications, Code of Practice for the Hydraulic Modelling of Urban Drainage Systems and relevant British Standards
•Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English
•Ability to work independently, exercise engineering judgement and provide innovative solutions while leading a team
