Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop conceptual, schematic, and final designs for public transportation and infrastructure projects, including plans, alternatives, contract drawings, specifications, calculations, exhibits, and reports.
  • •Perform engineering tasks for roadway geometry, surface grading, utility coordination and improvements, drainage and stormwater management, and work zone traffic control.
  • •Develop permit applications and support documents, coordinating approvals with agencies having jurisdiction.
  • •Participate in field investigations and construction site supervision as required, collecting and analyzing data from site surveys, blueprints, GIS, and geotechnical information.
  • •Prepare technical reports, presentations, and visualizations; maintain quality control standards and procedures for accurate measurements and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • •1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience in an engineering discipline and prior civil design experience.
  • •Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
  • •Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, including permitting and design/build project work.
  • •Experience using discipline-specific design software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.
