Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage delivery of contracted workstreams, providing technical leadership and acting as a technical authority within scope while engaging customers and suppliers.
  • •Capture, decompose, and agree requirements with stakeholders; set acceptance criteria; maintain end-to-end traceability; and manage change with impact assessments.
  • •Champion and govern MBSE, using Enterprise Architect to maintain system definition, behaviour, structure and interfaces, and generate controlled outputs supporting design, V&V and compliance.
  • •Plan and drive verification and validation through integration, translating ambiguous multi-domain problems into clear testable elements while prioritising and retiring risks early.
  • •Lead technical reviews and governance for assurance/accreditation, own concurrent work packages (cost, schedule, quality), define statements of work and manage technical risks and opportunities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 57,000

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience applying systems engineering across the lifecycle, including requirements management, architecture definition, integration, MBSE and V&V.
  • •Experience with high-level design methodologies and architectures (e.g., UAF, NAF, TOGAF, SysML, UML) and practical MBSE using tools such as Enterprise Architect.
  • •Experience using requirements and interface management toolsets (e.g., DOORS) to maintain traceability and control system interfaces.
  • •Knowledge of systems engineering standards and principles, including ISO 15288.
  • •STEM or systems-related degree (or equivalent experience) and working towards CEng, with the ability to lead, guide, and mentor engineers.
