Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare interim and annual financial statements for investment funds administered by Northern Trust.
  • •Ensure accurate, timely completion of assigned tasks and client requests; meet service levels and regulatory filing deadlines.
  • •Prepare group, board, and ad hoc reporting for clients.
  • •Liaise with external auditors, manage audit queries/processes, and prepare regulatory returns where applicable.
  • •Ensure tax compliance deadlines are met and prepare/review tax computations; collaborate with internal teams and support locations.

Key Requirements

  • •Accounting experience within the investment industry is an advantage.
  • •Financial reporting experience.
  • •Qualified accountant or part-qualified accountant; qualification desirable but strong accounting history may suffice.
  • •Able to set priorities, work in a structured way, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • •Strong communication, problem-solving, client servicing, and interpersonal skills; team player with initiative.
