Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, coach, and grow the Browser Run systems engineering team (1:1s, career development, performance conversations, hiring).
  • •Own the Browser Run roadmap and delivery, providing clear visibility into priorities and deliberate trade-offs.
  • •Partner with Product Management to define direction, pressure-test scope, and make roadmap decisions that keep shipping.
  • •Ensure operational health for browser fleet capacity, session reliability, cold-start latency, concurrency limits, on-call rotations, and incident follow-through.
  • •Resolve cross-team dependencies (Workers, Developer Platform, Security, Billing) and represent Browser Run externally through technical content and customer conversations.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years managing engineering teams, with a hands-on engineering track record.
  • •Own a production service end to end, including on-call rotation, capacity planning, and incident review.
  • •Demonstrated experience growing engineers through promotions and people development.
  • •Hands-on familiarity with browser automation (Chrome DevTools Protocol, Puppeteer, or Playwright) or with browser internals underneath them.
  • •Strong technical grounding in distributed systems, web fundamentals (HTTP, JavaScript execution models, rendering), or cloud infrastructure for credible design reviews.
