Job Summary

Lead and shape end-to-end M&A and investment transactions for Databricks. Partner with executives and cross-functional teams to source, evaluate, and execute opportunities, develop strategic memos for the Board, and drive post-close integration. Build the Corporate Development function through relationship-building with investors and bankers, process design, and thesis-driven market intelligence to inform strategy and growth.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and qualify high-impact M&A and Databricks Ventures opportunities by partnering with Executive leadership, Product, Engineering, and Partnerships teams.
•Conduct strategic evaluations of M&A and investment opportunities; communicate findings in business case memos and executive presentations.
•Build and maintain a comprehensive view of competitive and market trends to inform strategic decision-making and keep stakeholders updated on the evolving ecosystem.
•Lead cross-functional due diligence processes, working closely with Databricks’ cross-functional deal team during the entire transaction lifecycle.
•Be the primary author of executive and Board materials and drive post-close integration planning with the M&A Integration team.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Engineering, or other STEM fields is a plus.
