Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide age-specific patient-centered care using the nursing process and appropriate assessment techniques.
  • •Perform continual critical care assessments of patient and family physical and psychological needs, and revise the care plan as necessary.
  • •Coordinate and plan critical care/clinical pathways, prioritize care based on individual needs, and initiate appropriate transfer plans.
  • •Support or assist with women’s health procedures including colposcopy, cryotherapy, endometrial biopsy, excision of Bartholin cyst, cervical cerclage/polyp removal, implant procedures, and IUD insertion/removal.
  • •Document relevant data in the medical record, maintain safe patient/staff environment, manage supplies/equipment, and participate in competencies, education, and CQI activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in nursing with minimum three (3) years full-time course duration, or a nursing degree with minimum two (2) years plus Registered Nurse registration from specified countries.
  • •Minimum two (2) years of recent post-graduate experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology setting.
  • •Valid License/Registration to practice in home country and/or country of last employment (where applicable).
  • •Hold minimum Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is essential).
  • •Ability to render age-appropriate care and perform patient and family physical and psychological assessments, care coordination, and care prioritization.
