Job Summary

Lead Zapier’s Enterprise Engineering organization as the agent era accelerates and enterprise trust expectations rise. Own the engineering roadmap and technical strategy for identity, access, audit, policy, and AI/agent governance. Drive reliability and incident response for Tier-1 customer services, partner with Product, Design, and go-to-market teams to translate needs into defensible execution, and build the next generation of engineering leaders.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and drive the strategy and roadmap for Zapier’s Enterprise Governance bet in partnership with Product and Design.
•Own the technical roadmap for systems enabling enterprises to govern AI: agent identity/permissions, audit trails, and scalable policy controls.
•Be accountable for reliability across identity, audit, and admin infrastructure, including Tier-1 services; coordinate during major incidents.
•Partner with Sales and Customer Success and enterprise customers to translate deal and support needs into an engineering roadmap.
•Build and develop the enterprise engineering organization by growing managers and ICs and owning team outcomes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 280,300 - 420,500 annually

•Own the technical point of view on identity, access, audit, and policy, and defend it in cross-functional and executive settings.
•Build reliability and operational excellence as the org scales, with service ownership, on-call practices, and durable quality bars.
•Scale engineering organizations through structural change, leading managers and technical leads through transitions and ambiguity.
•Partner closely with Product and Design to set technical direction and push back on roadmaps when operational reality demands it.
•Demonstrate customer- and stakeholder-oriented judgment and data-driven approaches to delivery, reliability, and quality tradeoffs.
