Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead supplier engagements, manage timelines and deliverables, and align resources to ensure production-quality delivery of complex display and optical systems.
  • •Plan and execute optical system build events across supplier sites, including configuration matrices, build plans, BOM reviews, unit allocation, and daily build reporting.
  • •Use technical expertise in optics and manufacturing to guide design convergence, resolve technical issues, and support trade-offs to meet product objectives and compliance requirements.
  • •Act as the primary liaison between engineering teams, supplier partners, and leadership, aligning goals, dependencies, and deliverables across distributed teams.
  • •Identify and mitigate technical, schedule, and production risks by maintaining major issues lists, monitoring dependencies, and adjusting plans to protect program maturity, quality, and deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •BS in Optics, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
  • •8+ years of technical program management and manufacturing process development experience delivering hardware products, or equivalent experience with demonstrated program leadership.
  • •Demonstrated experience taking a module or system from concept through qualification into mass production.
  • •Direct experience leading contract manufacturers and component suppliers, including on-site build support.
  • •Technical fluency in optics and optical manufacturing, including owning hardware program schedules and working through NPI and phase-gate reviews.
