Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan delivery journeys to support efficient supply chain operations.
  • •Support safe loading and unloading of the trailer.
  • •Carry out full safety checks on your lorry.
  • •Maintain knowledge of and comply with the Highway Code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, Transport Partners handbook, and driver training pack.
  • •Handle unexpected situations, communicate problems/delays to the transport office, and report vehicle issues; complete required documentation accurately.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 19.1 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Manual UK LGV1 C + E driving licence (maximum 6 points).
  • •Valid Driver Qualification Card (up to date training) and a valid Tachograph Card.
  • •Previous experience driving LGV (articulated vehicles).
  • •Knowledge of the Highway Code and adherence to WTD and EU Drivers Hours Regulations.
  • •Be 18-years or older to work in this role.
