Job Summary

Drive technical pre-sales engagements for Databricks’ Lakehouse Platform with enterprise customers across Manufacturing, Defence, and Automotive. Partner with Account Executives to develop end-to-end Data & AI solutions, author reference architectures, and deliver proofs-of-concept using modern Generative AI patterns. Run workshops, seminars, and meetups to scale best practices and build the regional community, while commuting to the London office and traveling for customer visits.

Key Responsibilities

•Build relationships with clients across the assigned territory, providing technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
•Serve as an expert in big data analytics to help customers adopt the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform through architecture, design, and implementation guidance.
•Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications; lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to scale best practices.
•Execute the full pre-sales lifecycle including use case discovery, solution scoping, and delivering solution architecture designs to diverse audiences.
•Coaching and mentor junior team members to develop technical and customer-facing skills.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Hands-on experience in technical pre-sales or consultancy, with a strong background in Data Science (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI, or Generative AI).
•Ability to architect end-to-end Data & AI solutions, including Generative AI concepts such as fine-tuning, RAG, and LLM MLOps, using open source and/or ISV tools (e.g., Dataiku, Domino, DataRobot).
•Strong proficiency in Python or SQL, with willingness to learn (or existing knowledge of) Spark.
•Proficiency in big data analytics technologies and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
•Experience designing and delivering complex proofs-of-concept (PoCs).
