Key Responsibilities

  • •Thoroughly investigate arbitration cases and provide detailed information, including auditing internal complaint handling for fair outcomes.
  • •Assess arbitration cases and decisions, take responsibility for the legally binding decision, and ensure Wise presents all necessary evidence.
  • •Maintain in-depth knowledge of local regulatory frameworks and arbitration body assessments, interpret regulatory changes, and ensure compliant outcomes.
  • •Collect and record complaints and arbitration decisions to support root-cause analysis and feedback to relevant teams.
  • •Defend Wise against adverse decisions, mitigate reputational damage, and consistently handle cases within Wise SLAs and arbitration deadlines.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 12 months of experience in dispute resolution, regulatory operations, or high-tier complaints handling.
  • •12–24 months experience in a Financial Ombudsman office, regulatory body, bank, or FinTech handling dispute resolution, legal claims, or regulatory escalations.
  • •Fluency in English (written and spoken) and fully fluent in at least one of: French, German, Polish, or Romanian.
  • •A strong understanding of European regulatory frameworks (or willingness to learn) and strict data protection/security procedures.
  • •Good command of BI/tools such as Lightdash, Looker, and SQL (or similar), plus analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.
