Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute comprehensive test plans: set up, configure, and operate benchtop test equipment to verify performance of PCBs and integrated electronic systems.
  • •Perform precision PCB rework and assembly, including SMT and through-hole soldering under a microscope, conformal coating and staking operations.
  • •Build, assemble, and modify complex cable and wire harness assemblies, including crimping and soldering connectors and routing wires according to schematics.
  • •Troubleshoot and diagnose failures in electronic assemblies down to the component level using schematics and wiring diagrams, then perform repairs.
  • •Document test data, rework actions, assembly details, and failure modes to support engineering analysis and continuous improvement.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 47.12 - 62.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on experience in electronics testing, assembly, and rework in an R&D or production environment.
  • •Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and technical datasheets.
  • •Proficiency in fine-pitch SMT and through-hole soldering (IPC J-STD-001 or equivalent standards) with PCB rework, component replacement, and modification.
  • •Proven experience in building and modifying complex cable and wire harness assemblies (IPC-620 or equivalent standards).
  • •Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
