Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform container loading and unloading transfers safely and on time.
  • •Operate/use the machine until the shift handover is completed.
  • •Move containers and carry out their transportation activities within the terminal.
  • •Conduct required safety checks on equipment before starting operations and report any faults to the maintenance department.
  • •Use radio communication and follow work orders via the VMT screen while complying with health & safety, environmental rules, and safe work practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduated from high school, vocational high school, or relevant associate programs.
  • •Have a B driving license.
  • •Able to act appropriately in a team and work independently as an effective team member.
  • •Quick to learn and able to grasp procedures and requirements.
  • •Experience with port in-yard vehicles such as Terberg, mafi, or kalmar; know port yard layout and rules.
