Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and manage daily accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and analytical accounting.
  • •Prepare, review, and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under Luxembourg GAAP and, if applicable, IFRS.
  • •Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • •Coordinate internal/external audits and support tax audits, working closely with the tax department on VAT and corporate tax obligations.
  • •Lead and mentor the accounting team; improve financial reporting, internal controls, and automate accounting workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional accounting qualifications are a plus.
  • •Minimum 5 to 8 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in Luxembourg or international settings.
  • •Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP and solid understanding of IFRS.
  • •In-depth understanding of Luxembourg tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • •Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams; advanced Excel and proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems.
