Job Summary

Experienced facilities management professional leading on-site hard FM service delivery for a Defence-related estate. You will manage reactive and planned maintenance, ensure safety and statutory compliance, coordinate internal teams and external partners, and align activities with ESTS/FASP plans while supporting Net Zero objectives and on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the delivery of reactive and planned maintenance activities on-site, ensuring work is performed safely, compliantly, and in line with statutory and MoD requirements.
•Manage the performance of direct maintenance teams and external supply partners to meet KPIs and maintain documentation within CAFM systems.
•Maintain Establishment Specific Task Schedules (ESTS) and Forward Additional Services Plans (FASP); draft Statements of Need to support sustain, maintain and change requirements across the estate.
•Oversee statutory compliance, manage overdue tasks with stakeholders, and identify opportunities to support MoD Net Zero objectives; participate in on-call rotation.
•Engage with Heads of Establishment to align maintenance activity with unit outputs and facility priorities.

Key Requirements

•Experience delivering facilities management services in regulated or defence environments.
•IOSH (or equivalent), emergency first aid and fire safety training are essential; experience as/with Asbestos and Legionella Responsible Persons is a plus.
•Technical qualifications in a building services or engineering discipline.
•Experience managing maintenance services along with direct teams and supply partners; strong customer-focused service delivery.
•Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
