Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead HSWW delivery across construction programs by integrating safety standards, Safety in Design outputs, and contractor pre-qualification conditions into execution activities.
  • •Oversee health and safety risk assessments, and direct delivery-phase safety audits and inspections using the enterprise assurance framework to identify and escalate non-conformances.
  • •Manage site HSWW inspection programs, PPE governance (procurement, distribution, monitoring, record-keeping), and ensure corrective actions are assigned, progressed, and closed out within timeframes.
  • •Lead incident investigation using the incident investigation hierarchy, drive corrective/preventive actions, and coordinate crisis communication and regulatory reporting for serious incidents.
  • •Monitor HSWW performance through KPIs and dashboards, define occupational health standards and guidelines, and ensure accurate reporting to the HSWW Project Control Group and leadership cycles.

Key Requirements

  • •18+ years of experience in health, safety, and worker welfare in large-scale international construction delivery projects, including relevant leadership experience.
  • •Advanced knowledge of national and international construction safety standards, KSA labour laws, and occupational health frameworks.
  • •Proven delivery-phase safety leadership covering site safety oversight, risk assessment, audits/inspections, PPE management, and incident investigation/root cause analysis.
  • •Ability to manage corrective action programs, crisis communication, and occupational health compliance across complex construction environments.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred; professional certifications/memberships such as NEBOSH, IOSH, CMIOSH, or CIOB preferred.
