Key Responsibilities

  • •Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers and support outsourcing decisions using make-versus-buy analysis.
  • •Lead Materials Core Team and coordinate product development deliverables through matrix management with buyers, planners, and production control while collaborating with engineering.
  • •Create, release, and maintain project materials strategy, including supplier price/delivery negotiations, supplier selection assessment, and supplier risk assessment.
  • •Meet cost objectives by generating and publishing key process indicators, tracking total landed cost targets, and resolving quality issues.
  • •Drive supply chain and sourcing initiatives including make-vs-buy opportunities, lead-time mitigation, dual sourcing for supply risk, and BOM cost analysis for cost reduction opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or related field.
  • •5+ years of experience in NPI sourcing project management in a manufacturing or technology-driven industry.
  • •Strong knowledge of material planning, procurement, and inventory management principles.
  • •Proficiency using ERP systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, and Excel.
