Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely while meeting production and quality goals.
  • •Oversee day-to-day team activities by identifying strengths/weaknesses, setting improvement steps, and ensuring adherence to standards.
  • •Engage and coach team members with feedback and performance management; proactively communicate expectations and goals.
  • •Review and approve mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory, and lead decisions to repair or reject inventory with the Inspection Center General Manager.
  • •Train production associates using Quality Control standards to complete repairs correctly the first time, minimizing re-checks, rework, and delays.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Experience using computers and at least 18 years of age.
  • •Demonstrated functional expertise in one or more areas of Carvana’s reconditioning process and understanding of current reconditioning processes and lean principles.
  • •Valid unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
  • •Ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work variable schedules including overtime and weekends.
