Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct project activities across customer voice/performance requirements, product definition, product development, manufacturing support, and product launch.
  • •Provide project leadership for design and development activities, with significant group decision-making responsibility.
  • •Support implementation of design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization using analysis and problem-solving (including DFMEA and failure analysis).
  • •Interface directly with customers, suppliers, and internal Eaton facilities globally; provide guidance, reports, and training in areas of expertise.
  • •Conceive and write patent disclosures to substantiate patent applications and ensure compliance with quality and environmental management systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Master’s degree in Mechanical is preferred.
  • •3+ years of engineering experience in the automotive industry, with fuel tank system experience preferred.
  • •5+ years of application engineering experience.
  • •Familiarity with fuel venting systems and basic knowledge of CAD software (CREO preferred).
  • •Fluent English (verbal and written) and experience with change management and supply chain processes (ECO, ECR, ECN preferred).
