Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the independent QC function day-to-day across BSA/AML & Sanctions Operations, preserving QC independence from production disposition authority.
  • •Apply and maintain risk-based sampling methodology and recommend refinements based on results.
  • •Apply and maintain an error taxonomy, execute escalation and re-work rules, and surface gaps to the Director.
  • •Lead QC Lead and QC Analysts, including running monthly calibration with documented outcomes.
  • •Compile QC results and thematic trends for governance reporting, coordinate read-only system access, and maintain the QC results repository.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required.
  • •CAMS required; CFE, CFCS, or CRCM preferred.
  • •6–9 years of BSA/AML experience, including quality assurance/quality control or independent testing.

  • •Experience designing sampling methodologies and error taxonomies in a regulated environment, with familiarity with alert/case/sanctions-screening workflows.
