Key Responsibilities

  • •Support planning and delivery of transportation, energy, municipal infrastructure, land development, and other multidisciplinary projects.
  • •Use an inquiry-based approach to understand objectives, identify environmental opportunities and constraints, and help define project scope.
  • •Contribute to environmental evaluations by identifying environmental risks and coordinating with environmental specialists and subject matter experts.
  • •Interpret and apply environmental policies, regulations, and permitting requirements, and prepare planning documentation and regulatory submissions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, Geography, Natural Resource Management, or a related discipline.
  • •Approximately 1-5 years of relevant experience in environmental planning, permitting, land use planning, or environmental consulting.
  • •Familiarity with municipal, provincial, and federal environmental legislation, regulatory processes, and permitting requirements.
  • •Strong technical writing skills for professional reports, permit applications, planning studies, and regulatory submissions.
  • •Ability to identify environmental risks and opportunities and coordinate effectively with technical specialists across multiple disciplines.
