Job Summary

Build and support S/4HANA ABAP and ABAP Cloud applications for RTX’s OneRTX Process & Systems Transformation program. You’ll develop solutions using RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and Fiori frameworks, work with clean core extensibility approaches, and help migrate large ECC systems to a unified S/4HANA environment. The role spans the full software development lifecycle, including documentation, standards, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, document, and support S/4HANA ABAP and ABAP Cloud application solutions.
•Develop using clean core extensibility models (key-user, developer, and side-by-side).
•Contribute to migrating multiple ECC systems into a unified S/4HANA system.
•Help establish enterprise-wide standards for application development and integration using S/4 clean core techniques.
•Assess and optimize performance of new and existing programs across the full SDLC including documentation and project artifacts.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a university degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years; or 9 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
•Experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP projects.
•Strong knowledge of clean core extension concepts (in-app extensibility, developer extensibility, and side-by-side extensibility).
•Ability to design, develop, document, and support application solutions focused on S/4HANA ABAP and ABAP Cloud.
•Experience working with RAP and related ABAP technologies (e.g., ABAP Objects and OOP skills).
