Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor execution of HSE activities on the project to ensure requirements are met under the project HSE plan and HSEMS.
  • •Develop and implement field emergency response procedures and evacuation plans, and provide workers training on HSE topics (including incident prevention and first aid).
  • •Ensure hazards and unsafe practices are identified daily, observation reports are raised, violations are addressed, and corrective measures are recorded.
  • •Maintain and review required safety processes: site induction and monthly orientations, toolbox talks, visitor/supplier induction logs, and written risk assessments before work starts.
  • •Inspect and log required safety equipment and gear (e.g., mobile plant/equipment, harnesses, fire extinguishers, ladders and tools) and provide daily/weekly/monthly HSE performance reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Proficiency in health, safety, and environmental regulations with compliance across local, state, and federal requirements.
  • •Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify HSE risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • •Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Develop and deliver HSE training programs and safety awareness initiatives to employees and contractors.
  • •ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills, to support HSE operations and reporting.
