Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • •Build and integrate APIs to expose statistical models, analytical services, and machine learning solutions to front-end and external systems.
  • •Collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to operationalize computational and statistical models in production.
  • •Integrate backend services with Azure cloud components, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks Delta Lake, and Azure DevOps.
  • •Implement secure authentication/authorization and support CI/CD, automated testing, and model deployment/monitoring lifecycle using MLOps frameworks.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong backend development experience using Python and FastAPI to design and build RESTful APIs.
  • •Experience integrating and operationalizing statistical/computational models in production environments.
  • •Familiarity with Azure cloud components, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure DevOps, and Databricks/Delta Lake.
  • •Knowledge of API security including authentication and authorization, plus error handling, logging, and documentation.
  • •Experience with Agile delivery (Scrum) and automated testing using pytest.
