Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, estimate, and implement technical solutions for medium/high complexity C applications.
  • •Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
  • •Own analysis, refactoring, and consolidation work as part of the UNIX/AIX to Linux (RedHat) migration.
  • •Recommend and promote IT standards, tools, and practices to achieve well-engineered software products.
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders, propose solutions autonomously, and escalate risks/issues related to development activities.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong, demonstrable expertise in plain C.
  • •Strong UNIX experience across AIX and Linux (RedHat), including ability to port and refactor applications from AIX to Linux RedHat.
  • •Shell scripting experience (Korn/ksh, Bash) for build, run, and deployment tasks across UNIX environments.
  • •Solid command of the C build and debug toolchain (Make/Makefiles, gcc, gdb, core-dump analysis).
  • •Self-directed and able to deliver with autonomy, owning work end to end.
