Drive technical and business value for Databricks customers within your assigned territory by partnering closely with Account Executives. Serve as a trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to accelerate adoption of the Data Intelligence Platform. Create reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications, and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to build regional momentum. Engage in technical sales, validate use cases, and deliver complex solution designs for varied audiences.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain successful client relationships in your assigned territory in collaboration with Account Executives.
•Act as an expert in big data analytics to drive customer excitement and trusted-advisor guidance on architecture, design, and implementation.
•Author reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications to support customer adoption.
•Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to help build the Databricks community in your region.
•Develop into a technical/industry specialist by expanding knowledge and applying best practices in your field.

Key Requirements

•Prior experience with coding in a core programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala, and willingness to learn Spark basics.
•Proficiency with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands-on experience with complex proofs-of-concept and one or more public cloud platforms.
•Experience in use case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences.
•Ability to engage customers in technical sales, challenge questions, and communicate technical and value propositions.
•Ability to develop customer relationships and collaborate internally with account executives and teams.
