Key Responsibilities

  • •Under the coordination of the System Electrical Architect, manage all technical aspects related to (at least) one of the following areas: Active antennas data handling sub-systems (DHS) and equipment or On-board data handling sub-systems (DHS) and equipment.
  • •Elaborate and maintain technical requirement specifications for on-board sub-systems, equipment or boards (mainly on digital equipment).
  • •Review supplier's hardware designs (mainly digital electronics) as well as FPGA designs and documentation.
  • •Support SW engineering in the definition of the data bus protocols applicable to units and in the definition of processor load and memory occupation budgets.
  • •Define system verification and validation strategy, prepare system/equipment/board test specifications and maintain verification control documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Educated to degree level in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • •Proven experience (5+ years) in space projects and space digital electronics detailed design and test.
  • •Experience in requirements management and subcontractor technical management.
  • •English advanced level and Spanish advanced level.
  • •Experience with ESA standards (ECSS) and electrical design tools (e.g., ALTIUM, DOORS, LTspice/MATLAB) and programming with PYTHON.
