Job Summary

Lead and support reliable operation of RTX enterprise facilities plumbing systems and related mechanical equipment. Key Responsibilities

•Ensure reliable operation of building systems by completing preventive maintenance on HVAC units, motors, water pumps, scrubbers, and other facilities equipment.
•Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facilities equipment.
•Lead compliance with safety standards and support predictive and preventative maintenance programs and small-scale projects to meet site goals.
•Follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshoot malfunctions.
•Maintain onsite facilities support across mechanical rooms, offices, labs, clean rooms, and support areas, including lifting 40–50 lbs.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 8+ years of applicable experience in corporate facilities maintenance or an industrial setting, plus an AS/AA degree (or other 2-year post–high school education, training, or certification in lieu).
•5+ years of plumbing and process piping experience with strong troubleshooting skills, including knowledge of water scrubbers and domestic/industrial water.
•5+ years servicing and repairing environmental-control/mechanical systems, including large air/water-cooled chillers and associated pump, compressed air, vacuum, and cooling tower systems.
•5+ years experience with water distribution systems such as pumps and RO units.
•Active California state driver’s license and ability to lift 40–50 lbs.
