Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead risk-focused initiatives with global financial partners to build business opportunities, develop shared risk/compliance methodologies, and support compliance with agreed risk appetites.
  • •Oversee and maintain the health of relationships with partner counterparts across risk, financial crime, and compliance.
  • •Develop and manage projects and initiatives that strengthen partner relationships and enhance partner-facing risk management capabilities.
  • •Deliver business and policy recommendations that inform Stripe’s risk posture and act as a representative and negotiator of Stripe’s risk/compliance approach to banking partners.
  • •Lead risk and compliance partnership and product discussions to align on risk approaches and strategies and pursue risk-aware solutions that expand product and user base.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of experience in risk, fraud, financial crime, or compliance at a bank, fintech, exchange, wallets, on-ramping/off-ramping, or custodians, including work with financial partners.
  • •Deep knowledge of risk and compliance topics for crypto and stablecoin products.
  • •Ability to represent Stripe across risk, compliance, financial crime, and product discussions with financial partners.
  • •Strong organizational, planning, and written/verbal communication skills to drive understanding, collaboration, and issue resolution.
  • •Strong stakeholder management skills, including navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing stakeholders across organizations.
