Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain good engineering practices and compliance with RSAF Technical Orders across jet engine work areas on aircraft or components.
  • •Perform component maintenance and on-aircraft maintenance including inspecting, surveying, evaluating, installing, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, servicing, overhauling, modifying, and testing systems and components.
  • •Ensure work is carried out according to MOE standards and procedures, including strict tool control and tool control procedures.
  • •Manage spare parts requirements using the GOLDesp logistics system and execute TCTOs and special inspections when directed.
  • •Provide functional guidance to SNTTP programs, and develop assigned SNTTP trainees.

Key Requirements

  • •Recognized qualification to NVQ/ONC/OND/BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent technical qualification) in the relevant technical discipline.
  • •At least 5 years of post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment (with formal recorded workplace/applied training), or 3 years on the same aircraft type, or completion of a BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/TSNTTP).
  • •Relevant type training (Q Course) and any specific training if required.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of aircraft maintenance and engineering, including human factors, error management, health and safety, and proactive hazard analysis.
  • •Be able to obtain and maintain Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership at the appropriate level, and be HF trained with a current driving license.
