Key Responsibilities

  • •Support high data rate SerDes applications (up to 400G) with system-level signal and power integrity design trade-offs and debug.
  • •Develop and validate electromagnetic models using Ansys HFSS and electronic suite tools, and ensure modeling accuracy across 3D/2.5D/2D representations.
  • •Run and correlate measurements with simulations using VNA/TDR techniques (50GHz+) and capture high-fidelity lab data for correlation/debug.
  • •Collaborate with package, PCB, and silicon designers to complete measurement-simulation correlation projects and deliver SI models with documentation.
  • •Evaluate system, PCB, and package material and connector solutions for future designs, and apply PDN impedance and power-integrity analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •BS with 12+ years, MS with 10+ years, or PhD with 7+ years in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
  • •Experience with signal integrity for high-speed digital applications and electromagnetic transmission-line theory.
  • •Experience with power integrity, PDN impedance analysis, and ultra-low impedance measurements.
  • •Hands-on signal/power measurement and correlation skills using VNA/TDR (50GHz+) and lab measurement capture.
  • •Ability to understand package/PCB laminate design and fabrication limitations and apply numeric modeling/simulation trade-offs.
