Job Summary

Under general supervision, leads and executes all phases of MPD service line equipment rig-up/down at land or offshore locations, providing planning, site direction at the well, and client support activities. Responsible for maintenance, installation, testing, and operation of MPD equipment, mentors junior operators, advises clients, and ensures safety, data quality, and efficient field execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and supervise all phases of MPD equipment rig-up and rig-down at onshore and offshore locations, including planning and site direction.
•Oversee maintenance, installation, testing, and operation of MPD equipment at client sites and field camps.
•Mentor and train junior service operators and operator assistants in their areas of specialization.
•Advise clients on services and products, foster good client relationships on site, and ensure satisfaction with results.
•Conduct pre-job safety meetings (toolbox), review and validate the work plan with the client representative, and manage any required changes.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience performing MPD activities.
•Preparation, assembly, disassembly, inspection and preventive and corrective maintenance of MPD equipment.
•MPD operations.
•Installation, operation and maintenance of surface equipment (RCD, choke manifold, Coriolis, pressurized separator, instrumentation, etc.).
•Interpretation of drilling parameters and pressure control.
