Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care, including educating patients and the public about health conditions and providing emotional support to patients and families.
  • •Assess, re-assess, and collect pertinent patient data; analyze information to determine nursing diagnoses, problems, issues, and care outcomes under senior nursing guidance.
  • •Create, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with an interprofessional team in collaboration with patients and their bystanders.
  • •Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, address and escalate issues, and administer medications and monitor for side effects and reactions.
  • •Deliver essential life support (as required) and perform specific clinical tasks including wound care management, IV fluids/blood products monitoring, and facilitating safe admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority, with the qualifications and experience mandated by the regulator.
  • •Manage their own professional re-licensure.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
  • •Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Be able to work across departments when necessary.
