Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical direction in the delivery of complex hydraulic modelling projects across national teams.
•Technically lead or verify hydraulic modelling projects for flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, and Environment Agency maps.
•Review or verify technical reports documenting model build and uncertainties.
•Lead proposals from innovative one-off projects to large framework contracts.
•Mentor staff within the team to support professional development and build client relationships

Key Requirements

•More than 15 years of experience in hydraulic and modelling software (Flood Modeller, InfoWorks ICM and/or TUFLOW)
•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline
•Chartered member of ICE or CIWEM
•Strong GIS skills using QGIS, ArcGIS and/or MapInfo
•Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships
