Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical direction in the delivery of complex hydraulic modelling projects across national teams.
  • •Technically lead or verify hydraulic modelling projects for flood alleviation schemes, flood risk assessments, and Environment Agency maps.
  • •Review or verify technical reports documenting model build and uncertainties.
  • •Lead proposals from innovative one-off projects to large framework contracts.
  • •Mentor staff within the team to support professional development and build client relationships

Key Requirements

  • •More than 15 years of experience in hydraulic and modelling software (Flood Modeller, InfoWorks ICM and/or TUFLOW)
  • •Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline
  • •Chartered member of ICE or CIWEM
  • •Strong GIS skills using QGIS, ArcGIS and/or MapInfo
  • •Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to develop and maintain client relationships
