Job Summary

Build and lead server-side JVM projects for next-generation financial systems, working in Agile self-organizing teams. Develop distributed services using actor-based concurrency, reactive programming, in-memory data grids, and advanced messaging beyond plain JMS. Collaborate closely with clients through iterative, project-based engagements and deliver high-quality commercial-grade software.

Key Responsibilities

•Build distributed systems using actor-based concurrency, reactive programming, in-memory data grids, and messaging beyond plain JMS.
•Work on server-side JVM-based projects for financial technology systems.
•Use a Java/Scala JVM ecosystem including Spring and subprojects, Guice, Guava, Maven, Hibernate, and Jetty.
•Continuously adapt to changing technology landscapes and pick up additional technologies across the full stack.
•Collaborate with clients in iterative, project-based engagements using Agile self-organizing teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of recent hands-on experience designing and coding complex, enterprise, commercial-grade server-side applications in core Java (ideally Java 8+).
•Experience building RESTful web services.

•Experience in a CI/CD environment and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field (or related experience).
