Key Responsibilities

  • •Build distributed systems using actor-based concurrency, reactive programming, in-memory data grids, and messaging beyond plain JMS.
  • •Work on server-side JVM-based projects for financial technology systems.
  • •Use a Java/Scala JVM ecosystem including Spring and subprojects, Guice, Guava, Maven, Hibernate, and Jetty.
  • •Continuously adapt to changing technology landscapes and pick up additional technologies across the full stack.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of recent hands-on experience designing and coding complex, enterprise, commercial-grade server-side applications in core Java (ideally Java 8+).
  • •Experience building RESTful web services.
  • •Test-driven development with unit and end-to-end testing.
  • •Experience with Agile software development (SCRUM or KANBAN).
  • •Experience in a CI/CD environment and a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a relevant field (or related experience).
