Key Responsibilities

  • •Support development, automation, and optimization of reserving and analytics tools, including AI agent-based solutions.
  • •Serve as the point of contact for IT-related questions in the EME Reserving Centre of Excellence.
  • •Advise, coordinate, and drive data improvement projects to enhance data accessibility, quality, and utilization.
  • •Review data transformation and reserving processes for efficiency, stability, and security, and drive continuous improvements.
  • •Educate actuarial colleagues on the efficient use of AI tools and relevant programming and data/technology capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience developing AI solutions and AI agents using Claude Code or similar tools.
  • •Familiarity with Power BI, DAX and Power Query is an advantage.
  • •Previous experience in a data-science related role in the insurance industry.
  • •Team-oriented, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • •Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, physics, actuarial sciences, computer science, or a related field, plus completed/partly completed actuarial qualification or willingness to pursue one.
