Key Responsibilities

  • •Examine and pack products while maintaining critical production and quality standards.
  • •Pack polyethylene bags/liners neatly and accurately according to job specifications and required counts per box.
  • •Check product quality (width and length), seal strength, packaging specifications, twist ties, and special instructions; label date and lot numbers on cases.
  • •Use lane coders to stamp each carton and observe all safety regulations while maintaining a clean work area.
  • •Report production or equipment problems to the Machine Operator and/or Supervisor; assist with start-up and maintain required production records.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Able to read and write to complete required forms and verify product quality.
  • •Must adhere to Amcor safety, health, and environmental policies and standards.
  • •Ability to work extended shifts, including overtime, weekends, holidays, and nights.
  • •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and perform repetitive standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and crawling; must be able to wear required PPE.
