Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop HVAC systems and solutions using Trane equipment and controls and other HVAC equipment, including project scoping, concept development, engineering analysis, and system validation.
  • •Support account managers with installation budgets and RFQs by preparing scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specifications, and permitting/bonding requirements.
  • •Provide key technical support during strategic job acquisition efforts, including pursuing Trane business and assisting acquisition and customer satisfaction.
  • •Manage design from conceptual site plans and preliminary engineering documents through construction documents.
  • •Validate and improve Design-Build Turnkey and ESPC processes, including transitioning secured customers from project development to project handoff.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year degree in Engineering, Technical field or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • •Project Management and Performance Contracting/ESCO experience required.
  • •Working knowledge of cost and savings studies using energy conservation measures (ECMs) and energy rebate programs, utility tariffs, and utility bill analysis.
  • •Ability to audit mechanical/building systems and recommend solutions, and to communicate with and direct subcontractors to obtain proposal information.
  • •Proficiency in Visio and AutoCAD (or other design software), plus ability to create HVAC system sequence of operations and control requirements.
