Key Responsibilities

•Assess complex Informatica workflows (sessions, mappings, parameterizations) and translate them into equivalent Python EL scripts and dbt models.
•Develop and maintain Python EL pipelines to land high-volume data into target warehouses using SQLAlchemy and database connectivity tools.
•Create dbt transformation models from Informatica mapping logic and implement best practices such as macros, incremental strategies, snapshot patterns, and layered models.
•Develop dbt-native tests and custom Python unit tests to validate transformation correctness and data quality.
•Build Airflow DAGs to orchestrate Python EL and dbt end-to-end, support CI/CD with GitLab, and troubleshoot SIT/UAT performance and data discrepancies.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of Informatica PowerCenter experience with mappings, sessions, workflows, and parameterization.
•3+ years of hands-on dbt Core experience, including model layering, macros, tests, and incremental materializations.
•3+ years of Airflow experience, including DAG authoring, task dependencies, and scheduling integration.
•5+ years of Python experience for production use of parallelism and batch data processing.
•5+ years of SQL experience, including complex joins, window functions, and aggregations across large datasets.
