Job Summary

Serve as a Security Managed Services (L2) engineer ensuring clients’ security infrastructures stay operational. Monitor, triage, and resolve security incidents and requests within SLA using ticketing tools (preferably ServiceNow), manage work queues, and execute approved changes. Assist with escalations and support L1 engineers, collaborate with automation teams to improve and automate routines, and analyze ticket quality and trends to drive continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor, identify, investigate, and resolve security incidents and problems to restore service efficiently.
•Handle client requests/tickets with technical expertise and resolve within agreed SLA.
•Manage work queues, update tickets with resolution actions, and log incidents promptly.
•Execute changes responsibly, ensuring proper approvals and documenting risks and mitigation plans.
•Collaborate with automation teams, assist L1 escalations with triage/troubleshooting, and support trend analysis to identify automation opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Experience in managed services handling security infrastructure and working knowledge of ticketing tools, preferably ServiceNow.
•Proficiency in active listening techniques such as paraphrasing and probing to gather details.
•Excellent planning skills to anticipate and adapt to changing circumstances.
•Strong communication skills and ability to work across different cultures and social groups.
•Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in IT/Computing, or relevant work experience.
