Key Responsibilities

•Serve as senior technical resource and advisor for the team, providing specialized input to studies and design in the staff's area of expertise.
•Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality, cost-effective work by others and participate in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables.
•Develop construction cost estimates and estimates of technical effort for projects and use expertise in all steps of completing the PS&E package.
•Perform quality control review of design calculations or drawings and prepare technical specification sections.
•Provide input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet project requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 170,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BA/BS in Civil/Structural Engineering with 6+ years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•PE (Professional Engineer) licensure in Texas
•Ability to pass MVR check
•Master of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering degree (preferred)
•Knowledge of Civil3D, MicroStation, LEAP Bridge Concrete, MDX, CSiBridge, STAAD, AASHTOWare (preferred)
